Syphylis

Were you looking for information about Syphilis? Syphylis is a common misspelling of syphilis.

Syphilis, a sexually transmitted disease, is often called "the great imitator" because it has many possible symptoms that are similar to those of many other diseases. It is transmitted through direct contact with a sore (which may occur on the external genitals, vagina, or anus) during vaginal, oral, and anal sex. It can also be transmitted from an infected pregnant woman to her unborn child. In order to prevent syphilis, you should have regular pelvic exams, use condoms, and understand birth control.
